Lillet is a premium aperitif particularly appreciated by cosmopolitan, successful women aged between 30 and 45 (defined as “Trendy Chic” by Pernod Ricard). It was originally created in 1872 by the brothers Raymond and Paul Lillet, fine wines, liquors and spirits merchants. They brought the first and only aperitif from Bordeaux, the Lillet, a blend of wines and fruit macerations crafted in Podensac village cellars. This segment of brewages is currently growing fast and Lillet is particularly successful in Germany.
I have created an educational cocktail booklet for Lillet, a delightful French aperitif wine brand belonging to the international distilled beverage group Pernod-Ricard.
This project includes the development of the brand visual structure, the design of graphic elements like digital and handmade illustrations, a photo session of the distillery for the booklet and future promotion and the execution of the ready to print booklet version.
Digital Graphic Elements
In order to keep up the modernity that currently identifies the brand, I created digital effects to the photograph I collected, I added shapes, wooden background texture and paint drop.
Handmade Graphic Elements
The challenge was to create a look and feel with a “craftsmanship” spirit, while building uniqueness and elegance to the brand. In order to achieve that, I came with some handmade illustrations to keep a rustic and artistic sense, I mixed watercolour, ink and pencil techniques and I added digital effect at the end.
In collaboration with the photographer and designer Jean-Francois Migné, a photography session was held in the facilities of the Maison Lillet, in the town of Podensac in western France.
Original images of the facilities, the production process and the ingredients required by the manufacturers of Lillet for their creation were taken and edited to include in an special section of this book

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
